Theodore Crook

Our loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Sunday, May5, 2019 at his residence with his family by his side. Age 72 years. The son of the late Delbert and Gretchen (Long) Crook was born in Bay City, Michigan on October 5, 1946. Ted was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. He retired from GM Powertrain after many years of service. Ted enjoyed spending time with his family, he was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping up north and enjoyed cleaning his vehicles. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife the former Cheryl L. Obermiller whom he married November 21, 1970; three children, Scott Crook, Stacy (Richard Jr.) Sniecinski and Andrew Crook; his grandchildren, Dylan and Kayla Rose Sniecinski; his mother-in-law; Arlene Obermiller; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sandy Crook, Bruce and Lori Obermiller, Randy Obermiller, Keith and Susan Obermiller; many nieces and nephews; his faithful companion, his pet dog Cooper. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Delbert "Del" Cook Jr. and his father-in-law, Arlin Obermiller.

Funeral and Committal Services will take place on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schaewe with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. to receive family and friends. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church or the Parkinson's Foundation.
