Thomas Clyde Brown of Bay City passed away Friday morning October 15, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center, age 54. He was born March 21, 1956 in Bay City. He served with the US Marine Corp. Tom worked in the machine trades until he found his calling as a salesman, first with Oven Fresh and then becoming a manager with Sara Lee Bakers. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and served as a cantor and lector. Tom was active with the Bay City Players and Boy Scouts and enjoyed playing his guitar. Tom was very generous and kind, and had a great sense of humor. On June 19, 1981 Tom married the former Kimberly L. Gould and she preceded him in death on January 6, 2005. Tom is survived by his three sons, Daniel, Matthew and Thomas Brown; his parents, Clyde and Dolores 'Dee' Brown; four brothers, Michael & Mary Brown, Chris & Mitzi Brown, John & Gretchen Brown and David & Lori Brown; his mother-in-law, Norma Jean Gould; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and several nieces & nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors and staff of the CCU at Bay Regional Medical Center. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00am on Monday October 18, 2010 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm. Private inurnment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00pm, with the Vigil for the Deceased beginning at 7:00pm. Mr. Brown will lie instate at the church on Monday from 9:00am until time of Liturgy. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wishes of the Family for an education fund to be established for his children.
