Thomas D. Sporman

Thomas D. Sporman, of Pinconning, Michigan, our loving father, grandfather and brother passed away Thursday April 30, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. Age 63 years. The son of the late Walter P. and Marian E. (Boughton) Sporman was born July 13, 1951 in Bay City where he resided until moving to Sunny Cove in Pinconning, MI. Tom proudly served his Country in the United States Army. Left behind to cherish his memories are his children; Joshua T. (Danielle) Sporman and Stella (Kevin) Sporman, seven grandchildren; Jacob Reno, Cody Switzer, Casey Switzer, Cole Sporman, Andralyn Sporman, Kassadi Sporman and Eli Sporman, three sisters and one brother; Lenore E. (Will) Sovereign, Douglas T. Sporman, Julie A. (Joe Longo) Sauve and Elizabeth A. (James Bates) Hulslander, his best friend; Leon Yonke and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents Walter and Marian he was preceded in death by one infant sister; Jenny Sporman. Military Honors will take place Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services followed by a Celebration of Life Service. Officiating will be Pastor Nathan Polzin with private Inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Saturday to receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the "Wishes of the Family" will be available.
