Timothy T. Fleming

Timothy T. Fleming (January 23, 1957 - August 19, 2017) Timothy "Tim" Fleming of Bay City, MI, age 60, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side. The son of Thomas Fleming and Betty Jane (Miller) Fick was born on January 23, 1957 in Bay City, Michigan. Tim excelled in a variety of occupations, including hospitality services, the airline industry, software engineering, and, most importantly, fatherhood. He retired in 2014 after 18 years at XO Communications. An avid hunter, sports fan, musician, and traveler, Tim cherished rooting on the Michigan State Spartans, traversing Michigan's out of doors, playing tunes on one of his many guitars, and exploring his family roots in Hawaii. He also served his country with distinction in the U.S. Army. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of thirty-two years, Connie (Woods) Fleming; his children, Lindsey and Joshua Fleming; his brother Theodore (Julie) Fleming; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Abbie Fleming, Cindy Woods, Eileen (Tom) Krueger, Jeff (Loretta) Woods, and Paul (Colleen) Woods and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Fleming; his brother, Donald Fleming; his step-father Harvey Fick; his father-in-law Bernard Woods. The Fleming family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to staff of 3 East at McLaren Bay Region for the kind and compassionate care given to Tim. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Bangor Township Hall. Military Honors will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Bangor Township Hall. At the request of family, cremation has taken place. Visitors wishing to honor Tim's life may dress in a manner befitting Tim's love of sports, music, or the military.
