Timothy Michael Francis

Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday evening May 6, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 75 years. The son of the late William John (Laura) Francis and Harriette (Casey) LaCasse was born January 9, 1940 in Bay City and has been a lifelong resident. Mr. Francis retired from Delta College as a custodian. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren and going to Disney World with them. He also enjoyed traveling, going to the casino and camping. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Crisis. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife the former Janet K. Grischke whom he married November 30, 1963, his daughter and son-in-law; Colleen Marie and Thomas Kienbaum, his grandchildren; Ashley (Ben) David, Zachary (his special friend; Erika Van Riper) Kienbaum and Hailey Kienbaum, his great grandchildren; Harvey Benjamin David and Emmett Timothy David, his sister; Kathleen Stevenson, his half-sister; Merry Anne Wambold, one half-brother; Harry La Casse, his brother-in-laws and sisters-in-law; Ken and Doreen Tacey, Don and Kay Grischke and Diane Snyder, many special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter; Kimberly Kay Francis, his step father; Casey La Casse, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Harvey and Agnes Grischke, one brother; William Francis Jr., one sister and three brothers-in-law; Lucille and William Knott, Kenneth Snyder and Tom Wambold, and his special kitty; Jasmine. Funeral Services will take place Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Dale Orlik with interment in Floral gardens Cemetery followed by Military Honors conducted by the U. S. Army and the Bay County Veterans Council. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive family and friends from on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
