Timothy C. Hayes

Tim passed away on Tuesday evening, August 15, 2017 at his residence. Age 61 years. The son of the late James and Corrine J. (Von Mach) Hayes III was born January 23, 1956. Tim was an accomplished chef, worked many years at the Bay City Country Club as an Executive Chef and was currently working at Bay Café Catering. In 1996 he took first place at the Pig Gig. He enjoyed building model cars, bonfires, drinking beer and barbecuing. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife Marilyn Hayes, his step children and step grandchildren; his sisters and brothers; Kathryn Gamboa, James J. (Kimberly) Hayes IV, Jeffrey C. Hayes, John P. Hayes, Kelly M. (Maureen) Hayes, Louis P. (Judy) Hayes and Ani (Eric Ginac) Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Liturgy will take place Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Parish-St. Mary's Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert Kelm with cremation following. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will be Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Tim will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass.
