Timothy Allen Kolka

Timothy Allen Kolka, 42, of Brooksville, Florida, was called to heaven on May 14, 2022.  Though he left this world far too soon, he has left a lasting impression on so many and the memories will be left to cherish.
Tim was born on June 21, 1979 in Bay City, Michigan where he later attended T.L. Handy High School.  He grew a passion for welding, the outdoors; hunting and fishing, tearing apart and fixing anything he could get his hands on, and most of all being a father and sharing his wisdom with her.  He was also a proud American and so to speak an 'Army Brat'; always hanging flags in honor of his Country and military family.  Tim's free spirit, jokes, laughter, love and even his short fuse will be missed by so many.  His comical personality would put a smile on everyone's face, and always left someone laughing.
He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Debbie Kolka; daughter, Kristin (KK) Kolka; nieces, Alyssa (Mike) Aguirre and Cierra Kolka; great-nieces Anelah Kolka and Scarlett Aguirre; many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Jackie Chadwick, Aaron Miller and Joe Price; his four-legged best friend, Zu-Zu; and many other friends and family.  He is welcomed to heaven by his beloved brother and best friend, Raymond Kolka II; grandparents Donald Sr. and Mary Kolka, and Dolores Gassman; and his uncle Ronnie.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Gephart Funeral Home Inc.  Friends and family are welcome to the funeral home on Sunday to pay their respects from 3:00 pm to 8:00pm. A Catholic service will take place at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Jose Cabrera and a eulogy by lifelong friend, Bryan DeWyse at 6:30 p.m.  A private burial will take place at a later date at Elm Lawn Cemetery.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family.  For online condolences please share those at www.gephartfuneralhome.com .
