Timothy D. Zehnder

Timothy D. Zehnder Bay City, Michigan Timothy D. Zehnder, age 63 years, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in Bay City, Michigan. He was born to Reverend Dr. Herman F. and Lenore R. (Eckert) Zehnder. Tim attended Zion Lutheran School, Handy High School and graduated from Michigan State University in 1974 with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Tim, known as "Big Z" to his friends, was an avid hunter, fisherman and had achieved Eagle Scout Rank. He was preceded in death by his father; Rev. Dr. Herman F. Zehnder and one brother-in-law, Colm O'Hare. He is survived by his mother; Lenore Zehnder, three sisters, Elizabeth O'Hare, Kitty (Perry) Trombley and Miriam (Bob) Donahue and his brother, John (Janet) Zehnder and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church (510 W. Ivy St. Bay City, Michigan 48706). Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with Inurnment following in St. Lorenz Cemetery in Frankenmuth. The family will be present at the Church on Friday to receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes are suggested for Zion Lutheran Church.
