Tom passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Toni and Trish House with his family by his side, at the age of 55. The son of the late Howard D. and Rosa M. (Jones) Harmon was born in Bay City, Michigan on July 21, 1963. Tom was a member Agape Chapel Church. He was employed by the State of Michigan as a Corrections Officer at the Saginaw Correctional Facility. Tom had a great love for the outdoors, camp fires, drinking his coffee, but most of all was a proud father of his two children.
Left behind to cherish Tom's memories is his wife, Melissa M. (Jezewski) Harmon; two children, Emmaly (her significant other, Carl Helmreich) Harmon and Daniel Harmon; his step mother, Linda Carnal; his brother, Howard Harmon; his sister, Debra (Mike) Metzger; his niece and nephews, Misty Metzger, Chad (Catrina) Metzger and Jeremy (Carrie) Austin; his great niece, Caitlin Metzger; his father-in-law and mother-n-law, Fred and Darlene Jezewski; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, one nephew and three nieces. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his infant niece, Heidi.
Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, June 19, 2019 evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Tony Hartsfield with cremation following. The family will be present at the funeral home on Wednesday to receive family at friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to the Toni and Trish House or the Donor's Favorite Charity.
