Tom Kocks

Mr. Kocks passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 75. Tom was born June 9, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan. Tom was a dedicated member and usher at Corpus Christi Parish and was retired from the Bay County Road Commission. He was a fastpitch softball pitcher for 20 years, loved working with kids in little league, enjoyed golfing, Tuesday trips to the bar with his dad, going on family vacations to Florida and spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lynn (Tomczak) Kocks; two sons, Brandon Kocks and Aaron (Quinn) Kocks; grandchildren, Myleigh, Maddox, Abigail, Madison and Alyssa; father, Bill Kocks; brothers and sisters, Carol Kocks, Chrissie (Gary) Bailey, Joe Kocks, David Kocks, Mary (Gary) Church, Bonnie (Bob) Braley and Tom (Cheryl) Tomczak and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Kocks; sister, Marilyn (Bob) Nichols and his mother-in-law, Mary Jane.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Corpus Christi Parish. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm, followed by military honors conducted by the Bay County Veteran Council. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial Cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the church.
