Velma A. Mueller

Mueller, Velma A. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Mueller passed away on June 11, 2017 at Smith Street Assisted Living. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Wegener) Reutter was born October 16, 1926 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Mueller was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she was active in the choir, Lady's Guild, visiting the sick and other church activities. She was a loving mother always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. She worked for Norman's as a bookkeeper and enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, having her family at her house for the holidays and she loved her animals. Mrs. Mueller is survived by her five children, Mike (Pat) Mueller, Beth Mueller and her special friend, Edith Kowalewski, John (Gail) Mueller, Chris Setula and her special friend, Dan Weber and Paul (Sheri) Mueller; eleven grandchildren, Lisa (Doug) Mizner, Lora (Ron) Nadolney, Lona (Ryan) Seddon, Lane (Leah) Mueller, Cristin Gougeon and her fiancee, Jereme Henderson, Eric Sullivan, Ed Mueller, Holly (Dan) Julian, Matthew Setula and his fiancee, Samantha Steffey, Zachary Mueller and his fiancee, Rebecca Dangremond and Nicholas Mueller; ten great grandchildren, Billi Ann, Kalan, Luke, Walker, Marissa, McKayla, Joslyn, Brooklyn, Malaya and Willow; one sister, Esther Holm; one sister-in-law, Grace Anne Mueller; special friend, Kathleen Fournier. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Mueller; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Alvin Forster; one brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Mary Reutter and one brother-in-law, Rev. Alex Holm. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Kruse with Committal following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services.
