Vida Flo O'Hare

Vida passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 at Carriage House at the age of 89 years. Vida was born on May 30, 1929 to the late Joseph and Inez (Garvey) Roberts in Covington, KY. She moved to Michigan at the beginning of WWII and graduated from Bay City Central High School and Delta College. Her entire adult life was spent in the Bay City area. Vi retired from Delta College and was active in the Delta Retirees Club. She was also a member of ABWA, the BCHS '47 Reunion Group, and a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her three sons, Tim (Marie) of Midland, Terry (Sharon) of Bay City and Dan (Betty) of Lakeview, MN; grandchildren, Sean (Abby), Brian, and Meghan O'Hare, Jennifer (Greg) Kroshus, Shannon (Jeff) Lang, Breanna (Jared) Jaarda and Amanda (Ryan) Preusse; great grandchildren, Aidyn, Teagan, and Kane O'Hare, Charlotte, Wesley and Emily Kroshus, Korbyn, Quinnlyn and Adrien Lang, Lincoln and Carter Preusse; sister, Barbara Roberts of Florida and her special friend Barney Ballor. In addition of her parents, Vi was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John W. O'Hare; several siblings and her grandson, Blaine O'Hare.
At the request of Vi, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
