Virginia E. Madigan

Mrs. Madigan passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at her residence. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Julian) Jean was born December 28, 1929 in Bay City, Michigan. Virginia was retired from General Motors and enjoyed spending time at her cabin.
Mrs. Madigan is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Madigan and Margo Lee; one son, Glenn (Annie) Madigan; four grandchildren, Daniel Madigan, Samantha (Mitchell) Malleck, Glenn Madigan Jr. and Virginia (Josh) Swedberg; six great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Madigan and her significant other, Kyle Simmons, Elizabeth Good, Andrew and Ivan Malleck and Madison and Allyson Swedberg; three great great grandchildren, Clarence and Leonardo Simmons and Remi Good. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Madigan; son, Dan Madigan; son-in-law, Randy Lee; four brothers, Kenny Jean, Richard Jean, Arthur Jean and Duane Jean and one sister, Karen Davidson.
Visitation will take from place from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Private interment will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Following the governors updated restrictions as of October 9, 2020 we will be able to allow 50 people in our chapel at one time, and we will be requiring masks and social distancing in the chapel. You may experience a slight delay while paying your respects to the family. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
