Walter E. Wojciechowski, Jr.

Walter E. Wojciechowski, Jr., of Bay City, went to be with our Lord on Saturday December 24, 2011 at his winter residence in Yuma, Arizona, age 66 years. The son of the late Walter & Alice (Rasmer) Wojciechowski, Sr., he was born September 8, 1945 in Bay City. Walter was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with his grandchildren. Walter is survived by his four children, Walter (Debbie) Wojciechowski of Bay City, Peter (Judy) Wojciechowski of Pinconning, John (Patti) Wojciechowski of Auburn and Sara (Tim) Majeske of Kawkawlin; six grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Hannah, Hailey, Gabriel and Maggie; two sisters, Mary Ann Tallmadge of Beaver and Romaine Siuda of Davison; two brothers, Gerald of Bay City and Thomas of Kawkawlin. Besides his parents, Walter was also preceded in death by a brother, Bernard. A Memorial Liturgy will take place at 11:00am on Friday January 6, 2012 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Craig L. Albrecht. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 7:00pm where the Vigil for the Deceased will take at 7:00pm. The family will also greet friends at the church on Friday from 10:00am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
