Mr. Huntley passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Age 76 years. The son of the late Theodore and Bertha (Danks) Huntley was born September 16, 1941 in Mio, Michigan. Mr. Huntley served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #169 and was retired as a truck driver from Wirt Stone Dock. He was also an avid bowler, enjoyed working on cars and trucks, loved camping and his dogs.
Mr. Huntley is survived by his two daughters, Lesley (Kenneth) Robinson and Kelly (Bryan) Hedden; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four siblings, Gary Gusler, Judy Wolfe, Marlin Kauffman and Anna (Bob) Ettleman; several nieces and nephews and his special friend, Mary Jane Phillips. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers, LeRoy Danks, Doug Huntley and Terry Huntley and one sister, Elsie Webb.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell with private interment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for the Bay County Humane Society will be available at the funeral home.
