Rahn, Willane Sue of Turner, Michigan Mrs. Rahn passed away Thursday morning June 7, 2012 at Covenant Health Care-Cooper in Saginaw. Age 71 years. The daughter of the late Willard Andrew and Emma Jane (VanHorn) Schiele was born July 1, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a member of Twining Baptist Church, was a choir director, a Sunday School Teacher, was active with vacation bible School, enjoyed helping with the youth group and was a girl scout leader. Mrs. Rahn was a foster parent to hundreds of children for many years, she enjoyed playing the organ and piano, was a bookkeeper for the Village of Turner but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Carol (Garry) Spahr of Tallahassee, FL., Kellie (Randy) Swartz of Bay City, Shellie (Duwayne) Mason of Tallahassee, FL. and Todd (Wendy) Rahn of Turner, MI. her grandchildren; Heather Spahr, Alisha (Brian) Duncan, Brett Swartz, Ashley Swartz, Richard Rodak, Rebecca Rodak, Robin (Chad) Fritz, Kalub Rahn, Miles Rahn and Emily Rahn, her great grandchildren, Cecil Woodard, Christian Woodard, Dylan Duncan, Ryan Rodak and Rose Lynn Rodak, her step mother; Cerelda Schiele, one sister and brother-in-law; Martha and Manny Diogo of West Palm Beach FL. and one brother and sister-in-law; Lee and Jenny Schiele of West Palm Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. . On August 2, 1958 she married Richard Harry "Dick" Rahn in St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church and he preceded her in death on March 18, 2012. She was also preceded in death by one brother; Michael George Schiele. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday June 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Dan Davis and her Step Mother; Cerelda Schiele with private burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin, MI. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family for a memorial that will be established in Mrs. Rahn's memory at a later time.
