William A. Bauman

William passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the age of 97 years. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey on July 3, 1923 to the late William O. and Cecilia (Ludwig) Bauman. William served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a Bombardier completing 34 combat missions with the 450th Bombardment Group (Cottontails). He graduated with an engineering degree from R.P.I. On August 25, 1951 he married Billie E. Blanchard and she preceded him in death.
William is survived by his daughter, Sue Ann (Daniel) Fisher; son, William M. (Suann) Bauman; grandchildren, Dani (Ken) Scherer, Steven (Frances) Bauman, Andy (Tiffany) Bauman and Mary Bauman; great grandchildren, Sean (Kelly) Bauman, Ryan Bauman, Ivy Arquette, Violet Pommerenke, Olivet Bauman, William M.L. Bauman, Karson Scherer and Ariahna Scherer. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Deborah Pommerenke and great granddaughter, Scarlett Pommerenke.
At the request of William, cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial services will take place at a later date.
