Rose, William S. "Bill" of Highland Township, MI formerly of Bay City passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Doctors' Hospital of Michigan in Pontiac, MI due to a cardiac arrest. Age 42 years. The son of Jerome G. and Barbara R. (Peppel) Rose was born on February 23, 1969 in Bay City, MI. Bill was employed as a EMT at Star EMS in Pontiac for three years and was well liked and respected at work and in the area hospitals. He graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1987, he enjoyed hockey, was an avid golfer and most of all he enjoyed spending time his family. At Bill's request he has gifted his organs to The Gift of Life to benefit others in the time of need. He is survived by his parents; Jerome "Jerry" and Barbara Rose, his brothers and sisters and their spouses; David and Diane Rose of Egg Harbor, NJ, Ricky and Lynne Rose of Bay City, Patricia and James Smith of Bay City and his twin, Barb and Dr. William Vandenbelt of Essexville, four cherished nephews; Scott (Shelly) Rose, Jake Rose and Bryce and Braeden Vandenbelt, two great nieces and one great nephew; Sania, Jason and Mattie Rose, his fiancée; Julie Lingenfelter, her son; Jacob and her family; Megs and Tom Beller of Novi, Jennifer, Todd, Colton and Aidan Jennings of Wixom, Tom, Krista, Madelyn and Ava Beller of Onedaga, MI, is partner at Star EMS: Eric, his co-workers and many friends. A Memorial Service will take place Friday evening, December 23, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey D. Weenink with private inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. At his request cremation has taken place. The Family will present at the funeral home on Friday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial contribution to the Wishes of the Family for a memorial to be established in Bill's memory at a later time.
