William F. Deprekel

William F. Deprekel, age 66, of Bay City, Michigan went to be with the lord on February 22, 2018. The son of the late to Francis F. and Floraine Deprekel was born November 18, 1951 in Bay City, Michigan. Bill lived with his care givers, Ron and Brixey Keckler of Bay City for the last couple of years of his long time illness with friends at his side. Bill had some challenges in life but never let that slow him down. For a lot of years you could see him at a ball game helping out or riding around town checking out the local flea markets. Everyone in town knew Bill, he will and has been missed. Billy's favorite hobby was taking things apart, bicycles, radios and collecting coffee cups.
Bill is survived by his brother, Daniel Deprekel of Jenison Michigan and step mother Rose Deprekel. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Kira Bodrie.
Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mary Ann Helie. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
