William J. Farmer

Mr. Farmer passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his residence. Age 53 years. Mr. Farmer was born May 15, 1964 in East Tawas, Michigan. William attended Messiah Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing pool, throwing darts, camping and fishing.

Mr. Farmer is survived by his wife, the former, Sherry L. Steff; three children, Matthew Farmer, Steven Farmer and his fiancee, Jenny Duford and Alisha Farmer; his mother, Lorraine Farmer; one sister, Cindy Wickman; mother and father-in-law, Darrell and Mary Steff; three sisters-in-law, Susan (James) Cameron, Shelly LaCombe and Sandy Steff; one brother-in-law, Robert Steff; his aunt and uncle, Wilfred and Sharlene Schmidt and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his father, James Wagner; step father, Benjamin Farmer and two brothers-in-law, Christopher Henry and Jonathon LaCombe Sr.

At the request of Mr. Farmer cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Andreas H. Teich. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
