William E. "Bill" Parker Sr.

Parker, William E. Sr. "Bill" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Parker passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 74 years. The son of the late John T. and Ida Ruth (Irvin) Parker was born December 10, 1936 in Bay City. He was a member of Carpenters Local #706. Mr. Parker enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his children; Peggy (Derrick) Wetters, William Parker Jr., Becky (Rob Harrod) Parker and Susan (Brian Swaid) Parker all of Bay City, his grandchildren; Amanda Hahn, Hollie Wetters, Austin Parker and Heather Harrod, his brothers; Guy "Bob" Parker and Gerald "Jerry" Parker, one sister; Virginia "Mae" Guinther, his special friend; Shirley Murphy. He was preceded in death by his wife; Della F. Parker, his brothers and sisters-in-law; James "Kenny" Parker and Mildred "Millie" Parker, John T. Parker and Virginia "Virgie" Parker, his sister and brothers-in-law; Marie and Frank Fulco and Gerald Guinther. Funeral Services will take place Monday, October 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. "A Veterans and Family Care Provider". Officiating will be Rev. Joe Atchinson with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery followed by Military Honor's conducted by the Bay County Veteran's Council. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
