William E. Starkweather

Mr. William E. Starkweather, of Linwood, passed away Friday afternoon, March 20, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 71. The son of the late Arthur and Mildred (Barnikow) Starkweather, he was born on January 9, 1944 in Bay City. Bill was retired from Saginaw Steering Gear. Mr. Starkweather is survived by his cousins and dear friends, Randy and Anne Charbonneau; and cousins, Ken and Connie Charbonneau, Mike and Kelly Charbonneau, Mark and Terri Charbonneau, Brian Charbonneau and Arlene Syring. Besides his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Starkweather. Bill's family would like to express their sincere thanks to Diane and Rick and all of the caregivers at Pine Ridge Assisted Living for the care and compassion they gave to Bill. It was Mr. Starkweather's desire for cremation to take place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Englehart. Private inurnment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
