Wilma L. George

Mrs. George passed away early Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Carriage House Nursing Home. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Tomke) Schroeder was born December 18, 1922 in Midland, MI. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and worked at Walmart for several years. Left to cherish her memory are two sons and one daughter-in-law; Clark and Karen George and Todd George, one granddaughter; Jenna George, two sisters; Helen Schoenheit , Grace (Robert) George, one brother; Harvey (Bonnie) Schroeder, her niece; Kay Arnold and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Richard George and one sister; Vi Wingeier. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with private burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive family and friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
