Winifred G. Makovics

Makovics, Winifred G. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Makovics passed away early Sunday morning, May 1, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. The daughter of the late Garnet and Thelma (Stevenson) Pollard was born March 1, 1934 in Port Alma, Ontario. She was a member of Bread of Life Harvest Center in Saginaw, she was very strong in her faith and enjoyed attending church and being with her church family. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Kenneth and Cindy Makovics, David and Marlene Makovics, Allan Makovics and Pamela Makovics, her grandchildren; Melissa, Jennifer, Stephanie Makovics, one brother and two sisters-in-law; Ross and Carol Pollard and June Pollard, several nieces and nephews and many special friends from her church.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Miklos Makovics and one brother; Leonard Pollard. Funeral and committal services will take place Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Rodney Mc Taggart with private interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
