O'Connor, Yvonne M. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. O'Connor passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Bay Shores Nursing Home. Age 93 years. The daughter of the late Leo and Lucy Salois was born August 23, 1919 in Bay County, MI . On August 17, 1946 she married Vincent E. O'Connor and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2010. Yvonne was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and retired from Mercy Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Maureen and Clifford Cook of Ann Arbor, two sons and two daughters-in-law; Michael and Patricia O'Connor of Bay City and Dennis and Jane O'Connor of Bessemer, AL, her grandchildren; Carolyn and John Wood, Colleen Cook, Clifford Cook, Kevin Cook, James O' Connor, Meghan O'Connor and Andrew O'Connor, five sisters; Ruth Wackerle, Betty Salois, Helen Salois, Mary Lou Bleck, Jane Landosky and one brother and sister-in-law; Daniel and Betty Salois, one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law; Daniel and Bea O'Connor of Venice, FL, and LuAnn O'Connor of Madison WI. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her two brothers; Robert and William Salois and two sisters and their spouses; Kathleen and Larry Seidel and Patricia and Tom Kelly, brothers -in-law and sister-in-law; Joseph and Odetta O'Connor, Raymond and Patricia O'Connor and Lloyd O'Connor , Theresa and Lloyd Pajot. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bay Shores Nursing Home for the kind and compassionate care they extended to Mrs. O'Connor during the time they cared for her. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated July 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Concelebrating will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm and Rev. Fr. Patrick J. O'Connor with the Rite of Committal following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home . Mrs. O'Connor will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
